County Court Judgements

As soon as the court hearing gets over, the court may issue an order that you must repay the debt you are owing to your creditors. The order passed by the court is called CCJs. The amount that you have to pay is agreed between either you or your creditor or in some cases; the payment is set by the court itself.

In case, if you have judgments from more than one creditor, the court may merge your debts and make an 'administration order.’ For that, you have to make single payment each month to be distributed by all the lenders you have. It is a common court procedure and nothing to lose sleep about it. Few things you have to do without wasting anytime.

You have to make sure that amount is correct owed by you, which the judgment states. To avoid getting registered as CCJ and malign your credit history, if you can afford pay the full amount within one month. It will help you from not getting note down in the file of credit reference agencies. You can also request court to give you more time to payoff your debts, in case; you could not pay in one month. This may help you to avail credit in future.
